the founder of Buena Vista & Co., specializing in heritage-inspired portrait photography.
My work is deeply rooted in my family’s story and inspired by the vibrant views of Buena Vista El Rosario, Guatemala — my paternal homeland.
Photography has always been part of my life and my family’s story. My grandmother’s brother, an early film photographer, inspired me to see the beauty in capturing moments through a lens.
History
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by photos, documenting raw, real experiences and turning them into cinematic, movie-like scenes that preserve emotions like love, joy, and connection.
To me, physical memories are invaluable. A picture can embody unexplainable feelings and transport us back to the moments that make us human. This passion led me to start with my own family, documenting candid moments and embarking on a project to capture portraits of all my relatives. This became a way to trace my family tree, learn about our heritage, and preserve our legacy for future generations.
I don’t want stories to fade; I want them to live on. I believe that photographs can tell a story that words often can’t — a story of love, resilience, and humanity.

I recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time, especially during busy seasons but I can typically coordinate a session within a 48-hour notice.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable retainer of 30% of your session is required to secure your booking. The amount will be applied to your total session fee.
Can I customize a package to fit my needs?
Absolutely! I’m happy to work with you to create a package that aligns with your vision and requirements.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. You will receive a sneak peek of your photos within the first 48-hours. Our editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
What should I wear for my session?
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. For family or group photos, I suggest coordinating colors but avoiding overly matching outfits.
Can I bring props to my session?
Yes! Props like hats, balloons, or meaningful items are always welcome to make your session more personal.
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes, I’m happy to travel! A travel fee may apply for locations outside Boston, MA.
Can I include my pet in the session?
Of course! Pets are part of the family, and I’d love to capture their personality, too.
How many photos will I receive?
The number of photos varies by package. For example, portrait sessions typically include 20-50 edited images, while weddings, events may include 200+
Do you provide raw/unedited images?
I do not provide raw images. All photos delivered are professionally edited to ensure the highest quality
What’s the difference between basic and advanced photo editing?
Basic editing includes color correction and minor adjustments, while advanced editing can include retouching, background removal, or artistic effects.
How will I receive my photos?
Your images will be delivered via an online gallery. USB delivery and custom albums are available as add-ons.
Can I order prints or albums through you?
Yes! I offer professionally printed photos and custom albums. Let me know if you’d like to add this to your package.
What if I want additional photos beyond what’s included in my package?
Additional photos can be purchased for $10–$20 each, depending on the level of editing required.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash and digital payment platforms like Zelle, PayPal or Venmo.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24-hour notice. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellation.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, I can work with you to set up a payment plan for larger packages like weddings.
